Data Privacy Statement
In accordance with Republic Act No. 10173, also known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, the personal information that we obtain in our registration will be stored and kept secure within the organizers’ information and communication system and will only be accessed by authorized personnel.
The information collected during this registration process is necessary to provide you with an optimal user experience during the UP PGH Division of Cardiovascular Medicine (DCVM) 44th ECG and 2nd Clinical Cardiology Course.
During the course, your attendance will be tracked and collected by the organizers and our partner information technology consulting team from CFA Inc. This will be used for reporting and statistical purposes, to assist in enhancing your conference experience, and to inform you about conference-related activities.
Contact numbers provided for the purpose of inclusion in the UP PGH 2020 ECG Course Viber group for updates and technical support will only be stored for the duration of the conference, and the Viber group will be deleted afterwards.
Email addresses will be kept in an electronic mailing list for the purpose of promoting next year’s ECG Course, but you may opt-out at any time by unsubscribing to this list, or by indicating in our conference evaluation form provided at the end of this conference, that you prefer not to receive further correspondence from the organizers.
Other information shared with the organizers will be kept for a maximum of 3 months after the conclusion of the conference for legal and accounting purposes, after which it will be anonymized.
Additionally, if you visit our industry partners’ virtual or e-booths as part of the conference website, your personal information may be requested by the corresponding exhibitor or industry sponsor. Access to said virtual booths is subject to the data privacy policies of the respective pharmaceutical companies hosting these.
By proceeding with the registration confirmation form and access to our website, you freely and voluntarily indicate your agreement to these terms and conditions. You also hereby affirm your data privacy rights as outlined in Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its corresponding Implementing Rules and Regulations.
